PAM Enterprise Solutions for corporate farming

Fairport now offers a variety of enterprise PAM solutions to suit the requirements of larger farming, horticultural and viticultural organisations.

The enterprise solutions offer the Microsoft SQL Server as an option for data storage and are designed to cater for “Client/Server” systems where all the heavy duty data access takes place on the server rather than on the workstations.

Please contact us if you require more information, reference sites or a quote on any of these or our other solutions

 PAM Enterprise advantages

• Scalability - Extremely large volumes of data can be handled with relative ease
• Data robustness – Microsoft SQL Server - the industrial strength database behind most corporate ERP solutions.
• Security – Database managers can assign data access rights to users on a case by case basis Admin, Data Entry & Reporting Security Groups
• Unlimited concurrent users - You can have many (potentially thousands) concurrent users.
• Centrally located data enabling database administrators control over data security (Eg. backing to an offsite location)
• Configurable User Logins Fully configurable access to sections of program per login.
• Data Entry, Edit and Delete Audit Trail Managed and Configured by PAM Administrator. Audit reports can be generated.
• Entity/Region Reporting Ability to assign ‘Entities/Regions’ for reporting to include Farms from multiple Business Units.
• Comparative Analysis Multiple Business Units in one database. Many reports have been adapted to accommodate Business Grouping etc.
• Global Reminders Reminders can be sent to Business Units for action. These are added to the General Purpose Diary
• Customisation Available – Interface to Accounts, Payroll, Client specific requirements.

PAM Enterprise can be installed on a local or wide area network using existing infrastructure within your organisation or it can be deployed using a Citrix server or the standard Microsoft Terminal Services system. Citrix is an application server system that works via the internet. Users can log onto the PAM Enterprise software from anywhere using an internet browser. The bandwidth demand of PAM Enterprise running on a Citrix server is surprisingly low and as a result it runs surprisingly fast, even using a dial-up modem. An example of how PAM EE can be deployed is shown below.

Setting PAM up to run on MS SQL Server is no different to setting up the standard PAM software. Organisations can upgrade from the standard PAM system to the enterprise system at any time. Your existing data can be quite easily migrated.

PAM Enterprise solutions may be hosted here at the secure Fairport Farm Software office in Western Australia, or using your existing infrastructure. See the PAM SaaS web page for more information: Software as a service.  We have clients who have chosen either method.

PocketPAM2 will work with all versions of PAM including our PAM Enterprise solutions: PocketPAM2 - data capture at the source
